Nikon FM2n
The Nikon FM2n is a variation on the popular Nikon FM2 the only difference is the shutter was reworked with aluminum in 1989. They also created another variant the Nikon FM2nT taking the original and making the top and bottom plates out of titanium. The FM2n is a great professional backup camera and was aimed at this market. It’s a fully manual camera and is very durable.
The complaints most people have center on the fact that it doesn’t have spot metering, TTL Flash, and lack of a rear film window. This would be a great camera for a student looking to learn the basics of manipulating everything on their own.
